Terms and Conditions For Buyers:

Items sold on this website are subject to the following rules:

1.      It is the responsibility of all buyers to read these terms and conditions prior to purchasing from BulletAndShell.  This is to protect both parties and minimize miscommunication, confusion or different expectations.

2.      All items are described as accurately as possible and are photographed to the best of our ability. We will gladly answer questions or provide additional photographs via e-mail to assist you in determining the condition, quality, and appearance of the item in question. Most items are one of a kind and are subject to prior sale. Please check availability of an item prior to sending payment.

3.      We guarantee that all items are authentic unless otherwise noted in the description.

4.      Please see separate rules governing Consignment items.

5.      All items are sold with a 5 day inspection period regarding condition and description and a lifetime guarantee regarding authenticity. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within the 5 day inspection period and let us know. You may then return the item at your expense for a full refund, less shipping and insurance charges and credit card fees if applicable. Items returned must be in the same condition as when originally shipped to you. We cannot accept the return of items that have been damaged or altered. We strongly encourage you to purchase insurance for the value of the item during return shipment to protect yourself.

6.      If you are mailing your payment, the item will be held for 7 days to allow payment to arrive. If we fail to receive your payment within the allotted time frame, the item will be returned to stock for sale.

7.      We accept checks, money orders and certified/cashiers’ checks via mail. We accept PayPal for web based and telephone purchases but may need to add funds to cover the PayPal costs (usually around 3%). Please allow 10 days for personal checks to clear prior to the item being shipped. All certified funds will result in your item shipping within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

8.      Layaways can be arranged on items over $100. 1/3 down, second 1/3 in 30 days with balance due in full in 60 days. If this schedule is not adhered to, funds already paid are forfeit.  This is to protect us for having to hold items off the market, but if you are going to cut things close, let us know and we’ll allow a reasonable grace period of 15 days.  Due to time factors there are no refunds or price discounts on layaways.

9.      All items are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If multiple buyers attempt to purchase the same item, the successful buyer will be the first to have contacted us. Should the first buyer fail to complete the transaction, the second buyer will be given the opportunity to purchase that item.

10.  Prices typically do not include shipping and insurance costs which are extra. We normally ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) but occasionally use FedEx or United Parcel Service (UPS) for all purchases within the continental US. If you prefer one shipper over the other please let us know but the USPS is the cheapest way to ship. If you require special shipping, please contact us for a quote. Insurance is recommended to protect your purchase. See the table below of estimated insurance costs.

or visit the USPS site. If you choose to ship without insurance we can not be held liable for lost of damaged items; this will be your responsibility. We will, of course, combine items to attempt to minimize shipping costs if you have purchased multiple items.

11. All sales outside the United States will be handled at our discretion. In general, we do not ship outside the US, but feel free to contact us regarding your situation. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that the item being purchased is legal to possess and import into his or her country. The buyer is responsible for all additional costs associated with an international sale. Once an item has left the United States, the buyer assumes all risks regarding the safe and timely delivery of the purchase. We are not responsible for customs delays, confiscation or loss. Items shipped outside the US are non-returnable and non-refundable. International purchases must be made via Western Union, MoneyGram or International Wire Transfer.
