Union paper time fuze production was consolidated to the Frankford Arsenal in 1862 for quality reasons. This pack is complete with five 4 second fuzes inside. The pack is dated 1863 and is wrapped in clear plastic for protection. The plastic can be removed easily without damaging the pack. As can be seen the paper over the bottom of the pack under one of the time fuses has come away from the paper time fuse moving inside and pushing the paper out.
