Description:The Archer percussion fuses were the best the Confederacy had to offer their forces who were literally begging for more percussion fuses. Because these fuses worked most of the time, they are scarce to recover in addition to being highly desirable. This one was fired at Union forces making their way up the James River. It worked and this helped stop them to find a different route into Richmond.
