Description:Standard Confederate copper ball fuse adapter but with an "I" stamped in the base. These are thought to be inspector's marks that also identify where it was made. Unfortunately, we don't know much about the "I" but the fuses turn up in Virginia sites so its thought to come from there.

There are 4 known letters in about 5% of these fuses: Q, I, F, and C. Q is the easiest to get and C is the hardest.
