Description:Typical Schenkl percussion fuse used in field caliber Schenkl shells as well as field caliber Parrott shells. The patent stamping on the fuse face is clear and the fuse has great patina. Note that while it looks to the eye to be in perfect condition, when the fuse detonated the shell the explosion ballooned the fuse body and it is very slightly too large to screw into a shell. Would be a perfect fuse to have in your fuse display.

Note: The picture of the face has a lot of glare and thus looks shiny. It has the same patina as the rest of the fuse body.
