Description:Pack of five paper time fuses from the Frankford Arsenal. This pack is in very good condition and not all broken up like most are. It contains five paper time fuses with a 15 second burn duration. It is dated 1863 which was the first year that paper time fuse production for the North was consolidated to the Frankford Arsenal. Prior to that, these fuses had been made at other locations with inconsistent quality.
