Description:This is the brass bushing that navy watercap fuse adapters were screwed into. Other large shells with different fuses such as Archers also used the same type of bushing.

This one screws onto a watercap fuse adapter perfectly. The imperfection is there is a vertical cut in one side. I assume this was made cutting a fuse out of a ratty shell, but it also could've been a manufacturing error from the beginning.

Just the bushing is for sale here, not the watercap fuse adapter shown in a couple of the pictures for illustrative purposes.
