That is the weekend of the North South Trader's Show in Doswell, VA. The American Digger show is the following weekend, July 27th. BulletAndShell.com will be at both! Hope to see you there.

Provenance: US/CS

Description:This is a nice and very interesting spur. It is Model 1859 Federal enlisted with foliate adornment and no groove on the inside. It was found in a campsite on Dauphin Island just south of Mobile, AL. It is in very good shape with nice patina. What makes this spur kind of neat is that the horseman decided he did not like the dual slots to hold the strap and on both sides cut the top slot off.
