Description:Another item we've never had for sale here. This is the brass maker's plate off of a line throwing lifesaving cannon. It was made by "Heat Transfer Products" of New York. I cannot make out the serial number beyond what looks like "S16"

I got this from Pete George. I wonder if it was recovered from the Andrea Doria...
