Description:This is a very good example of a 12 pounder cannon ball that used the wood adapter for the time fuse. Some of the wood from the wood adapter is still present in the fuse hole. The iron is uncleaned but looks good. It appears that if cleaned the outside iron would be slick. The inside still has some concrete powder inside which gives it a good look. The inside concretion could be removed if desired without too much effort. This is a nice half shell.

Shell is inert, uncleaned and coated.
