Description:
24pdr spherical shell that took a wood time fuse adapter. I used my borescope and couldn't see lines of weakness inside so it is probably not a CS polygonal cavity shell. Both sides used the regular 24pdr spherical shells. The Union used them in Coehorn mortars and the Confederacy in both mortars and big smoothbore cannons.
