Description:12pdr cannon ball from the Spanish Fort, Alabama battlefield. Odds are this is Confederate because it took a wood time fuse adapter and at this point in the very late stages of the war the Union troops weren't using them much.

The digger shellac'd this shell to protect the iron which is stable, but the shell has a shiny coat to it. This can be removed with lacquer thinner or Stripeeze. I don't have time for that now so will just pass the shell along at a bargain price
