Description:Super cool (& uncommon) 4.5in Hotchkiss groundburst.
This came from the late, great Charlie Harris who lived not too far away in Oooltewah, TN. CHarlie painstakingly reconstructed this from many small fragments to give us a really neat example of this rare shell. He used it as a candleholder!

Looking at the interior, it is easy to see that this was a case shot shell. This is an uncommon shell.

Moccasin Bend, TN is located directly across the Tennessee River from Lookout Mountain.
