Description:10in cannon ball with relatively thin walls so intended for use in a cannon, not a mortar. The Confederate Army had 10" guns in the Spanish Fort works. Shell has been cleaned and preserved. The iron is stable although there is pitting in it.

Shipping costs have increased to the point that it makes little economic sense to ship this 95lb shell and so plan for me to drop it off at the Gettysburg show in June or the Richmond show in July. There may be other ways to get this shell to you, and I am more than willing to work with you to find it a new, appreciative home.
