Description:Wow, this guy's first shell ever recovered was a rarity 9 Hotchkiss shell nose section. He was so excited he took it into Governor's Antiques where the legendary Mac Mason applied his distinctive and beautiful writing to it. Unfortunately, Mac left off the recovery location so the guy later applied some (easily removable) decal type letters below Mac's writing.

Mac marked items command a 2-3x premium over similar, unmarked shells. I paid through the nose for this as a result.
