Description:3in type II Hotchkiss that was clearly fired in battle. The sabot came off in firing and there are rock strike scratches on it. The iron is in excellent condition.

I was told that this shell came from Gettysburg and I trust the seller I got it from. Nevertheless, Gettysburg provenance gets attached to a lot of things so I have priced it for the relic, not the story.
