Forum looks a little bare bones these days since the upgrade.  Hopefully, that will be remedied soon.  In the meantime, my brain buster question for new registrants seem to be befuddling the spammers so thats a nice offset our members don't witness.  I hope the robo spammers don't see this as a taunt to their technological wizadry and unleash a denial of service attack, but bear with us here while we devine the deep seated mysteries of this forum software upgrade.  Thanks to Carl and Neal for all that...all I do is point out issues and ban spammers!

This is what 6 hours of blocking their nefarious activity looks like...all these %$#@!head's IPs got blocked and others not listed were stumped by a gauntlet of hurdles set up by our crack IT support department!

I just approved a new member, GeologyJohn.  If you are a spammer, curse you for circumventing our gauntlet of high tech screens.  If you are a well intentioned person, please post up as we love, in a platonic manly way, active, thoughtful posters.

A little bird has informed me that certain Asian powers appear to be determined to find out from us the secret of the Bormann fuse, Schenkl papier mache sabot, and watercap fuse technologies which are high tech stuff, or at least were 150 years ago.  Our members' patriotism is not for sale and we stand defiant despite their aggressive tactics.
