Sadly, 2018 went out with one last tragedy which Jay and Jon can undoubtedly relate to:

Now that’s a tragedy.  And funny too!
Best,

Very early  in my fire service career, we had a fire in an elementary school and while checking for fire spread and while passing through the kitchen I discovered several dozen cinnamon rolls in an oven that were just ready to come out. As a trained professional I felt that it was my duty to save these poor unfortunate cinnamon rolls from a terrible fate and when the fire was out the principal rewarded us for a job well done by giving us the cinnamon rolls and the milk to go along with them. I went from that stupid rookie to the man of the hour, unfortunately whatever good feelings that I had garnered went away about the same time that the cinnamon rolls were polished off and I went back to being that stupid rookie. Oh well, such is life-that said, this was a pretty funny article and thanks for starting the year off with some humor.

R.I.P Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. You were always true friends. When I saw this my eyes glazed over and I nearly cried in my coffee.  :'(
