Relic Battle in Franklin
« on: November 05, 2017, 12:13:26 PM »
When I posted the Richmond Show topic it reminded me that the Franklin Show right behind it on the first weekend in December, the 2nd and 3rd.  This is one big show that has something for everyone.  There is always some neat relics to be seen here.  I suspect Mike and I will still be in our usual space upstairs to the left of the front door.  Hope to see everyone.

Same comment on bringing any drilling and cleaning.  In fact I can pick it up in Richmond and deliver it back in Franklin if you'd like.
Best,
Carl

Can't wait!  If John Prine is playing there, he'll be singing his song "Paradise"

We have 4 tables and have been gleaning good stuff from the recesses of our collections to bring.  Watch out Franklin...

Who bought the moose? Matt Hagans?
It's not always "Survival of the fitest" sometimes the idiots get through.

The show was great as usual.  This year a bunch of us went down early to finally have time to do things we've been wanting to for years.  5 of us took this Franklin battlefield tour on the exact 153rd anniversary of the battle and it was well worth it:

We also stopped into the Corvette museum in Bowling Green which was nice and hit the downtown music scene as well as fantastic eateries.  I think I need to take the whole week off next year!
