Autumn Gettysburg Show
« on: October 21, 2017, 09:38:34 PM »
It turns out I have a need to go north to pick up a collection and am going to take advantage of the trip to swing by the Gettysburg Show.  I hope to see some of you there.  RelicRunner will be making the trip with me.  I've only been once before and that was two years ago but I had a nice time though I don't recall buying much.  The area was beautiful with fall colors, apple harvests, etc.  I should have some nice and rare CS cannon balls on the table.

I'll be driving up so if you have any artillery to disarm or have cleaned perhaps we can meet on the way up or back.  Of course I can also pick any at the show.

See you there!
Best,
Carl

I look forward to seeing you.  Please do come by and visit a bit.

I am hoping to pick up a collection on the way to the show.  I haven't seen it but it should be good.  It does have a 6-lber and 12-lber canister in it along with lots of CS cannon balls.
Best,
Carl

JimT sent me this picture of Carl and RelicRunner at the G-burg Show looking sharp in their matching outfits!  Nice to see you loaded down with lots of new inventory.

Hello,

Just got home a little bit ago.  Long drive with a little traffic and some snow flurries.  But RelicRunner and I had a good trip back.  We kept up with the wild and crazy World Series game.

The show was good.  People were nice and I got to talk with some forumites.  The place very good for a show and I even sold a few things.  I'm glad I went.  We will just need to work with the show organizers to arrange for a sunny day for when it is time to pack up!  I picked up a few common things at the show but nothing spectacular.  Got a nice shell collection on the way for fresh inventory at Richmond and Franklin.

Well off to grab some shut eye.....
Best,
Carl
