Have it. Mine sais copyright 1980 and it is a special edition of 2000 copies. Mine is # 1065 of 2000. Signed by Mr. Thomas Dickey. Unfortunately not signed to me. It passed hands at least twice before I got it.

I actually sleep with it under my pillow.  It's that good.  If my house was burning down the one book I would grab is my 1993 Edition.

Garret, I don't know what to say, except... that's what I have to call an awesome review. Thank you.

God bless,
Pete George

Pete,
God bless you for all your contributions to the study of Civil War artillery.  The world of collecting would be a less knowledgable place without you.  And I mean that sincerely and from the bottom of my heart.

Yours Truly,
Garret
PS:  My wish is that the book could be updated in 2018 with color pictures.

Most shells are referred to D&G# in the price guide. Where is this number in Mr. Dickey's and Mr. George's book. I have the copyright 1980 version.

If you are referring to "Civil War Collector's Price Guide" by Publisher's Press, it is the page number in the 1980 edition.
