The Wheaton show is this Saturday. I will be there. Who else is planning on being there?

A lot of nice things walked into the Wheaton Show last week, but Jon Patterson Hoovered up most of them.  I got several things to flip, but only this box to keep for my collection:

Wheaton was good for me buying things but not so for selling. However most of my buying was items from the non-artillery "dark side." An Ames Model 1832 artillery sword and a less than perfect artillery model Smith carbine were my closest to "Artillery" purchases. The Smith was a "walk-in". Other finds were a Model 1836 flintlock pistol and a Confederate Naval Cutlass, which I never would have purchased if an edged weapons dealer acquaintance hadn't walked by as I was looking and told me it was correct, as I had never seen the style before. Now to save money for Franklin and hopefully Dalton.

Yes it is, but it looks like maybe a light coat of polyurethane has been sprayed over it for preservation.
