WANTED: Naval Water Cap Insert
« on: January 18, 2017, 11:00:17 AM »
I need the little threaded insert or "water cap" for the NWC Fuse.  I don't care if it is dug, un-dug or what the patina looks like.  It just needs to be able to screw into the fuse.  Many thanks!  Message or post here, thanks in advance!

the watercap has good threads but may need more cleaning to work, it was dug in the 70's not the 80's if it matters

Very neat.  That is a frag I'd like to add to my collection one day.
Best,
Carl

Great job Pipe!  I have nearly that same identical frag from Fort Fisher also.  I don't think I'm going to add the fuses though.

Now that is cool!  I love frags and sectioned shells, but don't gave anything like that. Congrats.

Thanks Garrett and John!  I love frags!  I'm rebuilding a 30# parrott ground burst now..... I put it together dry and discovered I had most of the pieces.  I'm going to try something a little different with it than just a simple rebuild.  About half completed now, I'm running each individual piece.
