The fact that they aren't much to look at notwithstanding, I guess this no nothing O'Felt clown was done feeling them after they had been in his museum "for years."  You should arrest him for stupidity and send him before Judge Gary.

If my jurisdiction was in Nassau County and Judge Flowers was a Nassau County Judge I would try to do just that. This was totally irresponsible. Poor quality shells yes, but history none the less. I love the history behind the artifacts more than the eye appeal. Yes a solid, slick shell looks better, but I don't discredit the ratty ones. But that just me. Hell I'm kind of ratty and old myself.

Yeah, but I paid enormous amounts of money to 2 guys in Georgia to inert the ones I sold.  Even a Nassau County bonehead could get his jollies O'Feeling them to ascertain that.

Wow, one was safely displayed for years.  smfh...

I don't care what they look like, history to me, they would have a home at my place.  They truly are junk now if rendered safe.

You can always count on a self described expert to screw things up! Carl could have knocked those out in flash. So what was once historic items are now paperweights! We have a stupidity tax that we impose here so stay tuned!

One of life's small ironies occured a couple days ago.  This is a true story!  Publicizing it here will probably result in someone connecting the dots and me getting some serious negative feedback, but I'll eat my crow with this little seasonal ditty:

Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap-
When from my cell phone arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the iPhone I flew like a flash,
Opened my email and PayPal said I had cash!
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But the buyer was none other than Mr O’Feldt
Of all people he had purchased a fuse and wanted it dealt
The Nassau County folks now had empty museum shelves
So naturally they turned to the ebay elves
I knew in a moment it must be a trick
But he paid rather promptly and he did so right quick
I spoke not a word, and went straight to my work,
And fill’d his order; then said to myself, “maybe he isn’t a jerk,”
And so I exclaim, ere his box flew out of sight-
Happy Christmas irony to all, and to all a good night.

not to instigate, but wouldn't it be funny if he needed that fuse for a 12lber he had just acquired, and a fence post top was missing?
