I'll have to see if I can get away!  I always wanted to come to the Gettysburg Show.
Best,
Carl

As I said on the phone yesterday, this is the same date I am closing on my house. My wife almost killed me when I went to push it back because of DIV, I'm sure this show won't fly for her either...

No, Mike said I couldn't as I have to stay on top of cleaning shells.   ;D

More seriously I have some key things going on at work and home that will prevent me from getting away.  We are working on a big contract renewal that I need to stay focused on.  I had hoped to attend and was looking into it but just can't make it work out.    Maybe one year!
Best,
Carl

Shame.  Our largest dealer turn-out to date.  The arena is filled up with tables.

Good to hear.  Hope there are lots of good items for sale at good prices and pockets full of money to buy it up!
Best,
Carl

The show turned out terrific.  Relic shows of late have had lackluster showings of dealers and the public.  Happily there were positive signs of a turn-around here.  We had more tables set up than ever in our 13 years of having the Autumn show and at opening time on Saturday the line to get in stretched the width of the building, then turned and ran out of view.  Great fall weather also made for a perfect weekend.

Great to hear.  Congratulations.

With regard to relic shows being lackluster, the only disappointing one(s) I have attended is one in Richmond where they keep changing the location and date.  Wheaton, IL (in Sept) is a smaller one and was best in many a year this year and Marietta (in Aug) was solid as always.  Both were also sold out of dealer tables.  Hopefully, the upcoming Richmond and Franklin Shows will be strong as usual and folks still have some cash to spend after this Gettysburg Show.
