Here are my finds from the recent DIV at Brandy Station. I only got to hunt for a day and a half due to a family emergency but walked into a small Confederate site within 15 minutes of first firing up my machine. Spent pretty much all the rest of my hunt in a 100’ by 100’ area trying to cover it thoroughly. Many of the Kerr/Hayes bullets were 12-14” deep.

That's a nice day of digging! Congratulations.

Nice digs. Was this at the Excelsior Camp hunt or Beauregard?
-
It was on Beauregard. Even after all the hunts on that place there are still untouched spots. Not any undiscovered big camps but lots of small sites. The place is just so big.

a good day for sure

That's the kind of hunt I only get to dream about.
Here in Northwest Arkansas the only sites with potential are either hunted to death or completely off limits due to grumpy land owners who won't let anyone on their property.
