Forgive me for posting a non ACW subject but should prove interesting reading for those of wide interests.
Author Kerin Freeman of NZ has a new book out by Pen and Sword Publishing about the valor and courage of Jack Howard, 20 Earl of Suffolk, his secretary and driver who became known as the "holy trinity" during their dareing feats of rendering safe WWII German bombs and their fuzing. The Earl was also engaged in experimental work on German fuzes in an attempt to document Safing proceedures. He was awarded the George Cross medal.
