Description:Slider to a Britten percussion fuse. This was one of the most expensive fuses used in the Civil War, and it didn't work very well at all. As a result, more often than not, the Britten shells are found with a wood fuse adapter or a CS copper adapter used instead. Made in Great Britain and sold to both sides.
