Description:This brass time fuse adapter fits relatively late war Hotchkiss common shells. Prior to that all Hotchkiss shells had the same, larger opening. If you have a "common" Hotchkiss shell from places like Nashville or Spanish Fort, this is probably the fuse adapter you need. Common shells are ones filled only with powder as opposed to case shot shells.
