Description:Schenkl percussion fuse that comes apart. If that wasn't cool enough, it is dated 1895! The headtamp reads: "Schenkl N.Y.W." (for Navy Yard Washington) and "1895 TFG AG" (AG is in smaller letters so another guy's initials from TFG). Standard army pattern Schenkl threading of 1" dia. and 10tpi. Still has the leather washer under the head flange.
