Description:Anvil cap to a 2pc CS percussion fuse. This is very similar to the Federal James fuse, but the bottom is solid as opposed to the cavity on the underside of the US ones. The Confederate Army was desperate to get more percussion fused shells, and for some reason they didn't get many making these pretty rare.

The threads look like it will screw into a shell nicely if desired.
