Description:Really rare time fuse adapter almost exclusively recovered in the Mobile defenses. This is an Archer percussion fuse that was modified to take a paper time fuse. The head of this adapter broke on impact. I have included another half of the fuse adapter head. The two could be put together but are not from the same fuse.

A note in the fuse reads, "Found in the hollow between Old Spanish Fort and Battery McDermott. Dec. 13, 1975"
