Description:This style of fuse was modeled on the US West Point "James" style fuse. The Confederate Army was screaming for more percussion fuses, and it has always been a mystery as to why more of these relatively simple, yet highly effective, fuses did not make it to the front lines. The threads on the anvil cap are excellent and it could be screwed back into a shell if desired.
