BandS Banner

We just picked up a couple collections of artillery and other relics we are starting to list. Note that there will be more than artillery, bullets and fuses listed. We have buttons, camp items, US plates, etc.

Mansfield, Ohio Show was good as always. Our next show will be in Brandon, MS on June 8 and 9.

We continue to experience intermittent delivery of order emails, so it's wise to email us directly at and to be sure your order gets through. Thank you for your patience while we try to address this.

Description:Model 1840 Saber with iron scabbard. Blade is marked âN.P. AMES/CABOTSVILLE/1847â on the right side and âU.S./RCâ on the left. MEASUREMENT: 35â blade, 41-1/2â O/L. The blade has spots of pitting and mottling. The scabbard has rust and pitting but is still solid and could be cleaned up fairly easily.

This is the famous "wristbreaker" saber used by cavalryman including Forrest himself. This one has an early, highly desirable Mexican American War era date.
