Appropriately, this cover is dated July 1st, a couple days before the Declaration of Independence was signed 200yrs earlier. Without the brave ride of Gov. Rodney on that day, Delaware wouldn't have voted for Independence. This vote cost him his reelection -- the kind of courage we so rarely see in our political figures.
