Description:Barn recovered cavalry saber with"Perryville" written on the tag. Has a few nicks in ther blade from horsing around or being used on the farm. Original leather handle and wire are intact. with guard bent down is is common with these that saw use. I can make out a very faint "US" on one side of the blade where the date and maker's mark would normally be legible. Hang as a relic or with a $75 scabbard you can have a $500 sword.
