Looks like some promoters are going for it and trying to run their shows. Who knows if enough people will show up to make them worthwhile. I hope it works out but have concerns as we all do. Still figuring out which ones we'll attend this summer, but it looks like we'll try and do them. Stay tuned as the situation is fluid.

We continue to experience intermittent delivery of order emails, so it's wise to email us directly at cwbullet@hotmail.com and carl@sitherwood.com to be sure your order gets through. Thank you for your patience while we try to address this.

Description:Just a super book! This book is about the hobby of collecting relics. It discusses this topic from different directions. The first direction is the collecting in the early years by soldiers and other people during and early after the war. Then there were people who eye-balled relics before detectors were available followed by a discussion of the advent of metal detectors and how they changed the hobby. There is also a discussion of the impact of the Centennial on the collecting hobby. Written in 1978 the only thing missing is the impact of eBay. It is filled with both pictures of relics and discussion to help you understand the origins of the hobby. You'll even see early images of many people you see today at the shows or people who are no longer with us. A very informative and interesting book with some incredible images.

The book is unsigned and in very good condition. It has the dust jacket though it has a few very small tears and creases at the binding and corners but is very good overall.
