Description:Picked this up from the digger on my circuitous route to Dalton. Shows the tin powder tube and canister beautifully. The tube is in two overlapping pieces as originally made (which is kind of counter to the notion of Yankee abundance they they would use the last piece of tubing and overlap them rather than scrap the short ends). When the shell impacted, dirt forced into the fuse hole, snuffing out the fuse and flaring the top of the tin tube. I cannot guarantee that this fragile dirt blockage will survive shipping, but the flared tube will for sure.

This design did not leave much room for many shot. I just sold the other half of this shell and this is the last one I have.
