Description:This is a really nice example of a 9-inch case shot Bormann cannon ball cut in half to show the iron case shot balls in the interior. The case shot balls are suspended in a yellow matrix. While the Bormann fuse and under plug are missing having likely blown out, the fuse hole and powder chamber are in nice shape. Iron on back side is also in nice condition. Excellent display half of an uncommon shell.

Note the small ball is a 12-lber Case Shot Bormann shown to give relative size. It is not part of this sale.
