This is one of the largest diameter Dean & Adams bullets ever. I thought the largest Dean & Adams pistol bore was .44 caliber. I guess this could be jammed into it, but it seems like it would fit a bigger caliber pistol better. The little pintail extension was to hold a donut shaped cloth wad.
