Description:
"Bite the bullet!" is the phrase we recall for the poor, suffering bastard who had no anesthesia during surgery. These "pain" bullets were more likely gnawed on by rodents attracted to the animal fat used to lubricate them. Anyway, this makes for a nice specimen and story.
