This is a neat bullet but also a real oddball that could be one of the jewels of this collection. The consignor certainly thought so (and paid more than I am listing it for), saying the following about it:

"CS .69 Caliber Experimental Self Propelled, dug Cold Harbor, VA 1984 (Chris Trimble) EXTREMELY RARE"

It looks like a Tower bullet to me with something in the cavity. Might be iron or fossilized wood or it might be this mystery self-propellant. If anyone has more information on this, please share.
