Dimick bullets are highly prized and come in all sorts of calibers because each of the 1200+ rifles made for troops were issued with its own bullet mold. This one has a nice teat cavity and is larger than average.

Many Dimick rifles were issued to troops in Birge’s Sharpshooters, the 66th Illinois Vol. Infantry Regt. The rifles were highly regarded for their long range accuracy.
