Musketoon bullets are highly desirable, but have you ever seen a mold for them? This one is for MM292 and a modern slug has been cast in it to show the identical profile. The cavity plug is missing but the rest of the mold is in perfect order. In passing Jim Thomas said something to me about this being a St. Louis Arsenal mold. I also recall reading how these were issued to USCTs as obsolete leftovers.
