Beautiful 24pdr solid shot cannon ball. Both sides had these, but at Spanish Fort, the I don't think the Federals fired solid 24pdrs, only spherical shells from their Coehorn mortars. The Confederates for sure had 24pdrs in their defensive lines, with the Lady Slocumb being the most famous.
