Very uncommon CS conversion of a US Schenkl shell. These are listed as rarity 7 in D&G, but I have seen fewer than four of these for sale in the last 25 years. And some of those are faked as a now deceased dealer told me about how he would use a drill and insert dug ramrod iron for the pin.

This one is fresh out of a 90+ year old's collection in Tyler, Texas and definitely not faked. I got it for someone's want list, but that deal fell through so here it is.

I took some closeups of the tail to show that. The pin only sticks out opn one side but the base of it is visible on the other side. Some minor dings on the copper fuse.
