Description:This is a great example of a 20-lber Parrott case shot shell that I would keep if I didn't have one. It has an excellent look and condition. The iron is near smooth with a nice dark look. The sabot is the brass ring with a groove known as the Type III. It is in great shape with crisp rifling showing the 5 lands-n-grooves. Even the fuse is decent as a dug zinc fuse goes and still has a nice white look.
These shells are shorter than the common shell to keep the weight down since they contain the lead case shot balls inside. This is to protect the gun from being stressed when firing over weight shells. Even being short it weighs a bit over 20 pounds.
Shell is inert, cleaned and coated.
