Description:This one pretty much nails it per the shot tables.

Weighs 3lbs 0.2oz vs. shot tables 3lbs 0.5oz --
Diameter is 2.82-2.87" and shot table is 2.84

The shot tables are Civil War era. Col. Biemick's Encyclopedia of black powder projectiles covers earlier projectiles all the way back to the Revolution. He shows a range around these measurements for 3pdrs.
