Description:This is a super nice 30 Pounder Parrott shell with super iron. While missing the sabot that allows us to see the details of the groove where the sabot was. It is quite clean with all dimples and notches clearly seen. Far better than most. The fuse hole is missing the fuse. it was likely a zinc time fuse that corroded away. I'll clean the fuse hole up and chase the threads with a tap. Also note that the part of the patent date can be seen on the side. The letters "PA" from the word "PATENTED" can be seen.

Shell is inert, cleaned and coated.
