Description:As you can see this ball is in very nice shape with very nice iron. This came from way up north from in or near Lake Champlain. Also note that it has the original wooden fuse adapter still inside which is about 9 inches long. This likely happened when the shell hit the water or dirt (not sure if it was land or water found) which both extinguished the lit fuse and forced the adapter inside the shell. We don't get to offer a lot of this early stuff but find it very neat and interesting.

This shell is inert, cleaned and coated.
